An important win for President Bush's missile-defense program:

The NATO summit is backing a plan to build a missile-defense system for Europe.

On the other hand, NATO blocked the admission of Ukraine and Georgia to the alliance, while Albania and Croatia were invited to join. On balance it seems a productive session for the White House.
