President Obama has made his most outrageous move to date. Attorney General Eric Holder made the announcement this morning that some admitted terrorists including the self declared mastermind of the 9-11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be brought to New York City for trial.
Yes, you are reading this correctly. Our president is bringing terrorists, confessed terrorists, from Guantanamo Bay to New York where they will be tried near what used to be the shadow of the twin towers.
What a disgrace this man, Obama, is. What a slap to the face of the families of those killed on 9-11. What a slap to the face of our military that has fought and captured these terrorists. What a slap to the face of all Americans. These terrorists, after all, would like to kill us all.
These terrorists should be tried and convicted by military tribunals not in our courts where they will have a platform from which they can attempt to spread anti-American propaganda. This goes contrary to about 200 years of American policy. Never before have combatants captured during an ongoing war been tried in civil courts.
They will have lawyers that will use every means possible to get these terrorists acquitted on technicalities. All it will take is one liberal judge and KSM or one of the others could go free. Think about that. Can you imagine?
You folks that voted for Obama; is this the change you were looking for? Is this what you were hoping for? The country elected the most liberal, socialist president in the history of our great nation and now, to quote Obama mentor Jeremiah Wright, “chickens have come home to roost.” And they are bringing terrorists with them.

Bush tainted any trial
Let's not forget that George Bush tainted any trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed when he had him waterboarded repeatedly to extract information. We'll get a conviction and the death penalty, but the needless torture will sure make the prosecutor's job a lot harder.

Nor should we forget that the interrogations of KSM kept us safe for 7 years. Nor should we forget that KSM is not a common criminal, but a man who waged a war of terror on the US who is not entitled to any of the constitutional protections granted we the people. Lastly, nor should we forget Obama has determinded in his wacked out world, that America is the enemy and KSM the victim and KSM should be granted all the protections our civil courts grant us.
Torture does not keep us safe
You're making the assumption that people who are tortured will tell the truth. I believe that people who are tortured will tell their torturers anything to end the pain. The experts are divided on this issue, with some claiming that torture works and others claiming that there are better ways to extract reliable information.
One thing for sure though. Revelations about our use of torture has helped Al Qaeda recruitment efforts.

KSM was not tortured. When the current AG was asked to determine the illegality or that waterboarding as conducted by the CIA was torture he could not. Information gained from the interrogations led to other arrest and stopped plots, so that shoots down your theory that the interrogations proved fruitless. Finally, there is no proof interrogations we used have led to an increase in AQ recruitment.
