Those damn Yankees. Those Phillies, “da bums” as their fans so lovingly refer to them. Alright, we’ll have to suffer through more East Coast high-fiving, Jurzee accents...

...and all those articles about who has the best food, the coolest night spots, and the most vivid local color during lulls.

Commentators are combing the streets for stories, now.

There will be politically slanted articles today about the World Series.

There will be the economic-themed columns citing that these two cities horde all the money and restaurants.

Historians will wander the streets of Philadelphia and dream back to the days of the Continental Congress, wondering how we got here.

The medical debate has some fuel by digging into the enhancement game in the game.

Will campaigning officials use this event for free advertising?

Will President Obama be called upon to resolve a fight that’s sure to start when someone gets beaned in game 2? A teachable moment.

Will there be more writings about race and baseball?

Which team is the liberal’s…do the conservatives have a stake in this?

Will you watch and wait to see if there will be another Mr. October?…if ever. Maybe?

Hopefully this will be fun…
