Actually, I haven’t written the script yet, but who else other than Robin has the range to play the legendary Soupy? If you’re old enough to remember Soupy Sales…40/50-somethings…maybe your Mom didn’t let you see him…he was…different.

My Mom thought he was hilarious, and after watching a few re-runs, it showed me that Soupy Sales was speaking on a few levels of comedy.

Soupy died today.

…this comedian was a genuine article, a pioneer of American satire, who’s White Fang and Black Tooth will continue to mumble and be imitated…and comedians will study Soupy for a very long time.
