We didn’t elect Rahm Emanuel, but he runs the White House. He runs it well. He’s cunning, savvy, focused and presently seems to be distracted by a fox, network that is… It’s not like Rahm to be so rattled. Rahm is cool.

So, if Rahm’s rattled, and a senator is calling foul for Obama’s Nixon-like tactic of developing an enemies list, what’s really going on? It’s a worry when the chief of staff major Kahuna puppeteer has sweaty palms. Something else is afoot.

Hang out with PBS for a while…chill out with some Sesame Street. Watch Oprah.

Hard to wrap your arms around this problem of the network and their annoying results in the White House. We have some pretty focused mean people out there who are fighting with us with real weapons. We’re at war. So, why all of this intellectual capital wasted upon a flatscreen image and the accompanying sounds?

There are just so many hours in a day and we don’t have time for recreational fox hunting…no red coats, horns, pretty horses, shiny boots and top hats. Don’t “release the hounds” on this one, Rahm.

Priorities, Rahm. Get back to the string pulling, please. At least ensure that people are answering emails, phones, and clerking efficiently. Give good counsel. Go out and practice your jump shot when you feel tense. Turn off the TV for a while or tell one of your interns to watch and write a summary for you with your afternoon fruit juice.

I can hear my Mother’s voice echoing…turn off the TV now, go out and play, supper’s at 5, and check to see that your brother is OK.
