None of our four area senators will be showing up at soup kitchens soon. So stop worrying.

Only Claire McCaskill pops up on the Senates' elite list, the 11 worth more than $10 million ( a list that includes John Kerry (think Heinz) and Jay Rockefeller (think Rockefeller).

McCaskill, though, in the most recent Senate financial disclosure forms shows a worth of more than tripling the three area Republicans. the report doesn't necessary include the worth of homes, or assets that don't generate income, so the numbers are probably a bit low. Even so, they're all much better off than Montana's Max Baucus, who's in negative numbers at a minus $40,000, or Michigan's Debbie Stabenow, with a minus $20,000 worth.

McCaskill's worth: assets of $16.04 million and no liabilities. So, she's worth $16.04 million.

Next up is current Senator and Kansas Governor hopeful, the GOP's Sam Brownback. Brownback also shows no liabilities, so his worth is shown at $3.11 million.

And then Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) and Kit Bond (R_Mo.) come in at $750,000 and $710,000.
