Here comes Day 3 of the wildly entertaining sideshow featuring radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh.
The latest: Gleeful Democrats have put together a new Web site that mocks Limbaugh and the Republican political leaders who have been kowtowed into apologizing to him in recent months.
The site, found here, is a little bit of playful fun.
It begins with the stock phrase of, "I'm sorry I called you....", then provides different endings such as "an opportunistic brick thrower" or "an idiot."
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele became the latest GOP leader to humble himself before the Great Rushbo.
Steele had (correctly) called Limbaugh an "entertainer" in a recent interview. That prompted the conservative radio host to come down on Steele like a ton of bricks on his Monday show, saying it appeared Steele was supporting President Barack Obama.
Horrors.
That drew a quick apology from Steele -- and helped the Democrats come up with a new Web site that will provide a little bit of amusement in some very scary times.

Fortunately for Republicans, the Democrat Party seems capable of learning from history. They tried the same tactic with Limbaugh in 1993 and 1994. How did things work out for the Demcrats in November 1994?

Most folks believe that this is Bush's economy that Obama's dealing with, and seem to be willing to give him quite a bit of leeway to clean up what looks to be one of the biggest economic dogpiles in our nation's history.

Yet 63% of the Country disagrees with the bailouts and stimulus package. So the #'s don't add up. 84% of the people blame Bush. But 63% disagree with the bailouts that Obama has continued to put out. My head hurts.
If 63% don't think the stimulus will work and will weaken the economy, then I would say 63% blame Obama. Yes it's true, Obama inherited a bad economy. And if he came in and made modest policies, I would fully agree it is on Bush. But his policies were extreme. 1 Trillion Dollars. And I think he deserves the responsibilities of what happen due to that.
