Barack Obama will be elected president of the United States easily, says Monday's final Gallup Poll. Obama holds his biggest margin yet among likely voters over John McCain, at 53-42 percent.
The upshot? All the last-minute hopeful signs that McCain has been talking about sure don't show up in the final poll.
McCain's only hope on Tuesday is that Obama's voters stay home in droves. And they have to do that in state after state -- especially in swing states such as Missouri, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, and on and on.
That's a desperate hope, for sure.
The 53 percent mark for Obama in Monday's final poll is the highest he has had among likely voters. And the 42 percent for McCain ties his lowest mark.
When all voters are counted in the poll, Obama's margin grows even wider, 53-40 percent.

It's fair to assumed that you're not a professor of economics or history or you'd know that there are a number of sucessful socialist countries. Your silly statement about ACORN causing the financial crisis means it can't be logic, finance, or philosophy either. There aren't many disciplines in which a PhD would make such a mistake. So I'm curious, ....GYM?
No Economists Ever Back a Socialist Plan - They Always Fail
There is one thing that's sure. Throughout history, socialism always fails.
It is capitalism that built the mightiest country that the world has ever known. (America, in case you'd all forgotten.)
In fact, 140 of the nation's leading economists opposed the bailout, saying, "let the free market work, it always works best."
Controlled economies do not work. Never have, never will.
Obama's organization, ACORN caused the financial crisis, (and cost the US taxpayers one trillion dollars). One more Obama socialist plan (like Reparations, another ACORN demand) might send America into a full fledged depression. And what's Obama going to do? He promised ACORN a place at the policy making table and he has to deliver. They are delivering him one million illegal votes tomorrow.
Pass the popcorn. This is going to be a wild ride. (I just hope that Obama doesn't "negotiate" us into a nuclear war.)
Funny most economists favor Obama's plan
Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel
Seriously, are some republicans losing their minds????
With all this fear mongering.

Congratulations
You are about to elect a President who will give you a bigger government and more spending. Your new President will give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, drastically increase the number of H-1B visas, and eliminate E-verify at a time when millions of American Citizens are out of work. Your new Commander in Chief will keep American soldiers in Iraq against your will. Your new Chief Executive will borrow, spend, give away, and waste billions of dollars when the national debt is passing $12 trillion. No matter how much you object, he will not listen and will continue to implement his own agenda.

The Palin/McCain Comedy Show....
Although this may be a sophomoric analysis, I can't help but thinking that Saturday's comedy performances by Sarah and John are responsible for their poor showing in the latest polls.
Sarah's insipid conversation with the Fake Sarkozy and John's bizarre performance on SNL don't seem to be very, uh... PRESIDENTIAL.
