Palin claims to be just a middle class hockey mom, but she owes over $40,000 in TAXES, LIES about her travel expenses and has a net worth of 2.1 MILLION DOLLARS.

Ones relationship with their half brother is really not a testament to the type of person or president one will be. Do you have any half siblings? I do! To be honest I could not pick him out in a crowd of 1. However, I have a several charities that I constantly give to and youth that I mentor. I have my own company and I love my wife and take care of my family. My relationship with my half brother has nothing to do with, well, anything. You should based your opinion of your future president on how he will govern our country not on his relationship with a half brother in Kenya or a relationship with any other family members. Enlightenment as to who Barack Obama really is might be gained by considering the facts about Obama’s half brother, George Obama. He’s in his twenties. He lives in a slum in a hut in Kenya. He wants to become a mechanic but doesn’t have the money. He reports that he gets by on a dollar a month. He met Barack Obama for the one and only time in 2006 for a few minutes and said it was like talking to a “total stranger.” He said when people notice he has the same name as Barack Obama, he denies they are related because he is “ashamed.” The Democratic presidential candidate, who made $4 million last year, hasn’t lifted a finger to help his half-brother.

I sincerely believe that every one of us who is posting here today would be helping a brother if he were in George Obama’s situation. I know I would (I sent a check to the charity that has been created for him). And it speaks volumes about who Barack Obama really is, and about where his heart really is, that he (and his wife!) don’t. Their lunch last Wednesday at the Waldorf could have put his ½ brother through mechanic’s school and changed his entire life (and the Senator and Mrs. Obama could have sent a minion out for a hamburger and fries from around the corner.)

Barack Obama is hardly a “man of the people”.

Even after seeing exerpts of Powell on Meet the Press and reading what was written on this blog by Yael, I didn't get it until I saw the whole thing.

Truly if you're not already committed to Obama, you need to see what this thoughtful American said as he broke from his own party and chose among two friends. He has put the whole campaign in perspective, in my view.

I couldn't agree more, unfortunately.

Obama/Biden's new deal for America will get watered down and porked-up by Congress IF they only win by a slight margin. Only a landslide victory will force Congress to approve the bulk of the proposals as-is out of fear of voter retribution.

How did America get in to a situation where 40% of voters are too poor to pay income taxes? It happened because America's wealth is trickling down to China, India, Brazil and the middle-east in the form of manufacturing investment, jobs, oil revenues and divident re-investment. Meanwhile America's middle-class is sputtering under the weight of rising costs on healthcare, oil and education while seeing inflation-adjusted pay shrink.

Obama/Biden are not promoting socialism. They are promoting social policy to rebuild the middle-class...so we can buy the stuff that business' make. Even the poorest Americans workers pay 15% in social-sec/medicare taxes which they would get a much needed tax-credit on. Obama/Biden also propose $300B over ten years in alternative energy, infrastructure, education and healthcare. It would RIGHT America so that the Right does not gut it.

There is no more important election for young and old than this one. PLEASE VOTE.

The race will continue to get further and further away from McCain.

On election day it will tighten a bit as the newly registered voters and young people who Barack is banking on will do what they always do in mass...stay home.

But in the end Barack Hussein Obama will be the 44th President of the United States of America. He will win between 28-30 states, well over 300 electoral votes and the national popular vote 52.4% to 47.3%.

He will have a huge election party worth tens of millions of dollars. The man who is going to save the country from evil corporations will throw a huge millionaires party live on TV yet claim he is for the people.

On January 20, 2009 he will take the oath of office as the most liberal president in history backup by a now super majority liberal congress. The multi-millionaire democrats will then continue on their pace claiming to be for the working man and thus raise taxes on the evil rich. This will raise prices of everything, drive businesses and jobs out of the country and thus hurt the very people they claim to want to help.

And in the end....it will be said that it is George W. Bush's fault

I think too big a deal is being made about daily shrinking and expansion of Obama leads.

When your sample contains different groups of people each day, there will be statistical fluctuations. Since the Gallup poll has plus minus 2 percent errors, it means that day to day sampling can fluctuate by as much as 4 percent without being indicative of any trend.

The readers of your blog should be aware of this. Based on the last few days, I would guess Obama lead is somewhere in the ball park of 6-7 percent. In finite samples of 2000 or so people, it is sometimes showing up as 9 percent lead, while at other times, it is showing up as 4 percent lead.
