Reader Advisory Panel 2008
Polls including Nader and Barr may show a narrower gap between Obama and McCain than polls showing only the head to head contest. Nader and Barr are on most state ballots.
Almost all polls with all four candidates show Nader and Barr getting from 3 to 5% of the vote, and these votes are unlikely to come entirely from the undecideds.
The most recent poll from Democracy Corps, with polling ending October 5 shows Obama leading by 3% over McCain with Nader and Barr pulling 3% and 2%.
Several other polls are shown below, listing Obama, McCain, Nader, Barr.
Democracy Corps (D) 10/01 - 10/05 48 45 3 2 Obama +3
Associated Press-GfK 09/27 - 09/30 48 41 2 1 Obama +7
ABC News/Wash Post 09/27 - 09/29 48 45 3 2 Obama +3
Ipsos/McClatchy 09/26 - 09/29 46 42 2 1 Obama +4

Agreed
John McCain, even if he steals this election, has forfeited the right to be referred to as president. He is morally bankrupt.
A pyrrhic victory
These daily polls are notoriously poor indicators and should be regarded as entertainment only. John McCain may fool the pollsters and win the election, but it will be a pyrrhic victory. Those members of congress and the public, who he so desperately needs in order to govern effectively, will neither forgive nor foget the tactics that he is using. The wounds are deep and memories long. The recent Florida rally was probably the low point of the campaign as a rabid mob, encouraged by the speakers, threatened Barack Obama with great bodily harm. Fortunately, Obama was not in the vicinity, otherwise he probably would have been lynched while the county sheriff applauded.
Local conservative talk show hosts, such as Darla Jaye and Chris Stigall, must have received similar marching orders from the RNC because they are now devoting most of their programs to vicious anti-Obama rhetoric. A caller to Ms Jaye made the statement that she would "..cut off her hands before she would vote for that ***." Darla was so pleased with this vow, that she asked her caller to repeat it, and than laughingly agreed with her. Another caller stated that he didn't know "..whether to be more alarmed about a black riot if Obama loses, or a black riot if Obama wins." Ms Jaye assured him that his fears were justified and he was wise to arm himself.
I would like to think that voters would ignore the nastiness but history indicates otherwise.
Better than having no close personal friends, Roogie Yowser
It's your fault McCain's getting his tail whipped by a skinny punk with no executive experience. You didn't call him "Yomama" enough.
Both Bin Laden, and Obama........
Have close personal friends who tried to blow up the Pentagon.....
