Presidential Question No. 7: What is America's relationship with Russia?

John McCain showed his deep knowledge of the issues facing Russia, especially Georgia and the Ukraine.

Barack Obama said Russia's forays into the Georgia republic had been "unacceptable" and "unwarranted." Their behavior demands a "sharp response" from U.S. and allies.

McCain criticized Obama for being naive when Obama initially criticized both Russia and Georgia. McCain said that, when he looked in the eyes of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, "I saw three letters -- a K, a G and a B.'' a reference to the KGB, the Russian spy agency.
