So which jerk are you rooting for: radio shock-jock Don Imus or the long-troubled NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones?

Imus recently had this on-air exchange with a co-host, who told Imus that Jones had been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee.

Imus: "What color is he?"

Wolf: "He's African-American."

Imus: "Well, there you go. Now we know."

I doubt Imus will be fired or punished for the remarks.

Imus attacked the Rutgers women's basketball team with racial slurs in 2007, and his rant got him fired from his previous nationally syndicated job.

But Jones -- a cornerback now for the Dallas Cowboys -- isn't a beloved figure in the world of sports. Instead, he's been in and out of legal trouble since joining the NFL.

Imus says he won't apologize. He's even made up an excuse for why he said what he did:

"What people should be outraged about is they arrest blacks for no reason."

Right, I'm sure that was Imus's point.
