Prediction: Phill Kline will run for Johnson County district attorney this fall. Or not. Hey, how should I know? Even Kline doesn't.
Kline said last year he would step aside from the job, which he took in early 2007, and not try to convince voters to support him in the fall of 2008.
But now he won't rule out a race for the spot.
I say Kline should go for it.
He would further embarrass himself by going back on his earlier statement. And he would look even more like a one-issue (anti-abortion) candidate than he does now.
Besides, the district attorney's race would be a lot more fun for the media and the public to watch.

...is that there are people out there that are so small minded, so full of blind hatred that they can't even relate to other adults as adults. It's slander, it's character assassination, it's childish name calling, it's refusing to look at facts.
It's also a major newspaper that is so corrupt that they'll make up "news" and lie in their news articles! That the Kansas City Star would continually obsess over a Law Enforcement Officer who's simply carrying out the duties of his office by upholding the law for everyone including Planned Parenthood Inc. They've been documented breaking all sorts of laws across the country for years! The problem is not District Attorney Phill Kline, it's the 2006 Planned Parenthood Inc Top Award Winner, the Star!
See, they don't want their friend Planned Parenthood Inc. prosecuted so they use this major newspaper as an instrument to harass and intimidate those who these few that run the Star don't agree with. These irresponsible few use lies to further their agenda. Their agenda is to shield the pedophile protecting, law breaking, baby slaughtering allies at Planned Parenthood Inc.
District Attorney Kline is standing in the way so the Star is doing everything in their power to destroy him. That's all they know how to do anymore. Hopefully a new day will dawn and we'll see our newspaper go back to reporting the news instead of fabricating it.
You know, kinda like how their friends at Planned Parenthood Inc. counterfeit legal documents.
