Jared Allen's restaurant closes (gee, what a surprise)

He used to know things. Now he focuses of smoking ban issues and the Titanic-like trajectory of mayor smart with nothinghouser.

The restaurant never had a chance in its abyssmal location. C'mon, under a bridge with thrings of crackheads, homeless types and general riff raff, who'd want to go there? Jared Allen was a one-trick pony, and had little talent on the field. He's shown even less off of it by this bonehad move. Perhaps we shouldn't be so sorry to see him go.

Jared Allen didn't own Jared Allen's. It was owned by a Q104 DJ. Allen, largely due to his brother's country fame, had a relationship with the station. Allen was paid for the use of his name and for making appearences. He did not own, nor have any say in the bars opening or closing.

Here I thought someone who owes his wage to advertisers might understand how these things work, but then again you do work for the Star.
