Hope those Johnson County soccer moms are happy, the ones who spent lavishly to get tickets for their precious pre-teen daughters to attend Hannah Montana's concert last year at the Sprint Center.

Now Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) will appear half-naked in the pages of Vanity Fair magazine.

The news has set off the usual apologies from the allegedly offended party (Miley Cyrus), the usual outrage from advocates of G-rated entertainers, as well as defense of the magazine.

And the winners so far:

1. Vanity Fair, which will set lots of magazines.

2. Photographer Annie Leibovitz, who notches another infamous shot of a celebrity.

3. Singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley's father, who continues to partly live off his daughter's fame.

4. The Disney Channel, which airs Cyrus' TV show "Hannah Montana." The channel released a statement critical of the magazine, but likely will enjoy higher ratings because of the controversy.

5. And, of course, Miley Cyrus. She will reap plenty of publicity as well as plenty of sympathy from people who actually think she was manipulated into allowing the photograph of her to be taken.

Please.

The Vanity Fair shoot was designed to produce a controversial picture to get the kind of attention it's getting right now.

As for losers in this entire episode, they are the young girls who actually thought Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana was a "role model" to look up to.

She's little more than yet another celebrity ready to use her fame to capture more attention and money from the pocketbooks of fans.
