Heads up, Kansas City sports fans.

The KU and MU football teams could meet again under a new pact arranged by the Big 12 and Southeastern conferences on Friday.

Their regular-season champions will meet in a special postseason bowl game starting after the 2014 season.

So if KU wins the Big 12 and MU takes the SEC title in the same year, voila, that will create another exciting Jayhawks vs. Tigers contest on the gridiron.

Now I’m just waiting to see some pigs fly so I’ll know this game is a real possibility.

Not likely they will meet in the new title game.

However, there is a real chance of meeting in the Beef O’Brady’s tilt in St Petersburg or the Poulan Weedeater showdown in Shreveport.

Won’t need pigs to fly, only chickens coming home to roost.

Not likely. KU is definitely not a football school and MU is going to have a rough go in the SEC. It’s too bad the cowardly president of KU doesn’t want to play.
