World becomes more volatile, crazy

North Korea is warning that it can chuck some missiles at the U.S. mainland.

Iraq after U.S. troops exited last year following eight years of war is buying $4.2 billion of weapons from Russia. Huh?

North Korea is upset (again) over the U.S. agreement to let South Korea have missiles that are capable of striking all of North Korea. It is an invasion provocation, causing the North to do its own sabre rattling.

The Russia/Iraq arms deal includes attack helicopter and surface-to-air missiles.

In addition, Iraq has approved a $100 million contract with a Russian oil producer, LUKoil and its partner Japan’s Impex Corp. That throws out the window all of the U.S. anti-Iraq war protest signs and chants during the Bush administration, saying no blood for oil.

The war claimed a lot of U.S. and Iraqi blood during the fighting. Other countries are getting the oil.

What a world!
