Sarah Palin's political mojo sags in Missouri
There was a time when Sarah Palin like a rock star would have drawn a crowd of thousands to hear her when she’d visit the Kansas City area.
My how times have changed. On Friday, Palin, the former governor of Alaska and former Republican vice presidential candidate a mere four years ago, spoke in Cleveland, Mo., drawing a crowd of a few hundred people.
She appeared on behalf of Sarah Steelman who on Tuesday will learn whether she’s the GOP opponent facing Sen. Claire McCaskill in November. But Palin’s star has fallen like an old one-hit rocker who’s playing beer joints now just to pick up a little change.
If Palin still had star-power, Republican candidates seeking office in Missouri, Kansas and other states wouldn’t have missed the opportunity to ride Palin’s coat tails. But that day has long past.

Another snarky column from one of the star’s resident Palin haters. You and YT are pathetic with your hatred—get a friggin life.

9 months, 2 weeks agoLewis, I’m not Palin’s biggest fan. But, she does have recent experience with helping an underdog win.
Star power? Is Al Gore welcome in local races? John Kerry? Joe Lieberman? Oh, he isn’t a Democrat anymore. Where is Harry Reid? Has Nancy Pelosi stepped foot into Missouri to help a local candidate?
Of course Obama and Biden will come to Missouri to raise money for their race, but will local candidates allow themselves to be seen with them? I don’t think that is an easy question for them to answer.
So, Lewis. You took great glee in attempting to smugly slam someone who you have truly shown to detest (hate?). Methinks you ignored many more examples of your point over on your side of the isle. There are many more rising stars on the right than on the left.
