Public nudity in San Francisco? Are you nuts?

Without a doubt, there have to be some days in San Francisco where walking around in the buff would feel good.

But those days have to be few in that windy, foggy, chilly city by the bay. Yet, some people manage.

What are they polar bears? The skin issue came up last year when San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors banned public nudity.

Four nudists filed suit in U.S. District Court, saying their First Amendment rights had been violated.

With the wind, the rain and the cold — particularly by the ocean — would be enough to violate most people’s fully exposed backsides except on the sunniest, warmest San Francisco days.
