Planned Parenthood's huge victory in Kansas
Former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline couldn’t bring down Planned Parenthood. Neither, so far, can Gov. Sam Brownback.
On Friday, the group was celebrating a big, big victory as Johnson County and state prosecutors dropped the last charges against the group, first brought about eight years ago by Kline.
This ruling won’t change how people on both sides of the abortion debate feel about Planned Parenthood.
Correctly so, pro-Planned Parenthood supporters want it to be kept around to provide information to millions of young women about birth control. You know - how to prevent pregnancies.
And, yes, Planned Parenthood is needed to make sure legal abortions can be safely provided.
But critics will keep up their attacks intended to shut the organization down.
The most deranged opponents have resorted to murder and firebombings.
In this case, the attempt to use the justice system to kill or hamper Planned Parenthood has failed.
And that’s a good thing.

9 months agoKilling babies is big business. Tens of millions of dollars in profit are made every year from abortions.
And PP has the might of the federal govt. behind it’s operations via Title X.
The state of Kansas was wise to stop throwing rocks at a leviathan that can print its own money at will.

And every possible financial reckoning shows you to be wrong.
And Title X - what the dickins does that have to do with the price of tea in China ?
Pretend you are a low income women, perhaps 19 or maybe even 50. You need some medical advice regarding ovarian cysts as you are getting extra bloating all the time. Or maybe your periods are now last 2 weeks instead of 4 or 6 days.
That’s who goes to Planned Parenthood.

9 months agoPP provides tons of services for the needy besides abortion; it’s been targeted politically with abandon.
But even with regards to abortion: down with the zealot Kline, up with individuals having the freedom to make their own decisions. Glad to see the last of Kline’s reputation (with most folk anyway) lowered to where it should be.

9 months agoCowardly Johnson Co. DA Howe moved up the dropping of charges against Planned Parenthood’s filthy, unsafe, criminal, racist Overland Park abortion mill from Monday, because he found out that Operation Rescue will release evidence that he dropped the 49 most serious charges previously under false pretenses. The evidence will show that Howe, complicit in a criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice, falsely claimed that the state records containing the felony evidence against Planned Parenthood abortionist quacks were destroyed. Currently, the records exist and were placed under seal in the custody of the Shawnee County Clerk of the Court by Judge Richard Anderson on January 12, 2012. Furthermore, Judge Anderson’s office shows that there was never any inquiry about the records from any of the prosecutors, indicating that prosecutors were shielding whoever was responsible for the illegal destruction of felony evidence in an ongoing criminal prosecution, and eager to claim no more copies exist. Unless Howe is a completely incompetent boob (which is not entirely out of the question), he intentionally lied to Judge Tatum in open criminal court about the last copy of the records being destroyed, in a conspiracy to obstruct justice, or perhaps in a cringing effort to protect his legal career from an all-out attack from the abortion lobby, should he win a conviction. Fire cowardly Howe.

You can of course prove those crazy accusations - right ?
Although it is pretty hard to read what you wrote with no breaks in text. Did you copy this from somewhere else ?
