Obama's new salvo against GOP's 'War on Women'
President Barack Obama is more popular with American female voters than Mitt Romney is, according to the latest polls.
Obama wants to keep it that way, as his campaign joins the much-needed efforts to emphasize the “War on Women” mantra that many Democrats are chanting these days as they complain about the despicable treatment of women by too many Republicans office holders.
Here is the latest blast in that war.
Interesting graphics, if a little simplistic.
Others are weighing in, too. MoveOn.org has this.
And Emily’s List has this.

1 year agoYael, those ads distort the facts about as much as any. But then, I know they serve your purpose. Face it, you will be part of the campaign just from what you will write. And that’s OK, since this is opinion.
And I see you use the war on women phrase. I predict you will use that phrase many times as it, again, serves your political purpose. It will serve your purpose the same way you were complicit with most of the media in destroying hundreds of private sector jobs because of your indifference to the private sector and due to the sophomoric humor in the term “pink slime”.

1 year agoMoveOn.org? Right. Always good to source a far left radical group to make a point against a Republican. The “War of Women” is such a hoax, except for the fact that most Democrats are engaged in such a war. Despite nonstop propaganda to the contrary, abortion greatly harms women, physically, psychologically and spiritually. Check out the group: Silent No More. It is made up of thousands of women who deeply regret and in many cases are still suffering from the effects of their abortion or abortions. And, at least half of the 1.3 million people killed by abortion each year in the U.S. are women. The first salvo in the fraudulent claim that Republicans were involved in a “war on women” was launched by George Stephanopoulous in January of this year on his Sunday show when out of the blue he asked Mitt Romney if he favored states disallowing contraception. This whole sham has been orchestrated by the Democrats with their willing accomplises in the media. The media is in full campaign mode to get the disastrous President Obama reelected. Thank you. 1 year agoIt is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR to characterize GOP policies as a War on Women.
Women are not the only victims of their policies. Us guys stand to lose, too — at least those of us who are not Wall Street Investment Bankers making over $1 Million a year.
Besides, for every gal who is on birth control, there is a guy who is darn glad she is. Children should be a choice, not a consequence.
So, when women favor the Dems by such an overwelming margin? Guess that just proves they are smarter than guys.

1 year agoPhil, such hyperbole, lol.
First of all, you try to continue the myth that Wall Street is the Republican Party and the Republican Party is Wall Street. Obama has gotten more contributions from “Wall Street” than anyone else has received. If Wall Street is Republican, they sure have a funny way of showing that. Oh, people like Tim Geitner, and Jon Corzine….now, where did they come from? Please tell us?
And you changed the subject!! How clever. But, I caught on. You see? It’s not about preventing anyone from obtaining contraception. Even though that is what you said, that is not the subject. Until you changed it to that, that is. The real subject is who pays for contraception. Contraception is available to all. That is all, as in everyone. Everybody. You can’t even frame it that Republicans are taking free contraception away (Nothing is free!!). You see? It was never that way before. Obama tried to start, what is in effect, an additional entitlement. Republicans took nothing away from anyone with that issue.
I was at CVS the other day and I checked. Yep, contraception is available. I even asked a clerk if it was for sale. She said it was. So, I’ll take her word for it, contraception is available.

Geithner did not ‘come from’ Wall Street. This is a common misconception. His career has been spent at the Treasury Dept, the Federal Reserve, and other non-Wall Street agencies like the IMF or the CFR. You are right about Corzine but not Geithner.

1 year agoSteve, I stand corrected and I thank you. I prefer to deal with facts. I missed on that one, but there are others, including William Daley. But, thanks, I appreciate that.

1 year agoMark, our entitlement system doesn’t get reformed because the Democrats are continually telling the seniors that the Republicans are going to take SS away from them. Scare tactic? You betcha. Have you forgotten the adds showing grandma in a wheelchair being pushed over the cliff?

1 year agoYael, You obviously are a fan of Moveon.org health care ads. This clip is about the one they didn’t run.
Anderson Cooper actually does a terrific job of journalism. The moveon.org guy looks like the absolute Democratic liberal fool tool that he is.
Everyone please watch this clip of Anderson Cooper, someone who no one can call conservative.
