More worrisome portents for Obama
I posted the other day about the Republican yard signs sprouting all over New Hampshire, even in Prius-filled purple neighborhoods — a bad portent for President Obama. Here’s another: 40 percent of New Hampshire voters in exit polls Tuesday said they were “angry” about Obama’s policies, with the same proportion saying they’re dissatisfied.
Romney had strong support among tea partiers and evangelicals, and most voters rated the economy as the most important issue — a perspective that also favors Romney.
These results have got to cheer Republicans who believe the overriding goal is unseating Obama. The GOP is on its way to nominating a candidate who can draw solid support from independents. Despite the continued grousing about Romney from the right, the party will be solidly united behind its nominee. The most powerful unifying force won’t be Romney. It’s Obama.

???!!! Well duh! more than 3/4 of all the voters yesterday were Republicans. One would expect them to be unhappy with Obama.
You can fool all the Republicans some of the time but not all the people all of the time…..

4 months agoYou poll republicans and put it out in the guise of what all of New Hampshire is thinking. Bogus premise. You all forget that the Republicans scrambled and almost literally destroyed the entire economy and now Republicans complain that its not fixed in 4 years, and at the same time the Republican House and Congress obstruct any and every attempt by the current administration to do something about it. Lets face it, everybody knows it, and Republicans say it openly, its all about getting Obama out of office at all cost, even if its further damages this country. Get real!!!

4 months agoWe citizens are fervently searching for news to help us in selecting a President, and what we get is someone telling us that ‘Republicans in NH prefer Republicans’! Where’s the news to stimulate thought? Why is it that more and more, reporters seem to be unpaid campaign managers for one of the political parties? So what should I have learned from this editorial?

….that figures can lie and liars can figure. Ther will be a lot of that coming at us for the next ten months. I assume that about 10% of any political ad is actually true (just enough to add a little credibility)and the rest are lies of omission or comission
