Justin Bieber, Madonna appeal to generations
The Sprint Center couldn’t have contemporary stars who appealed to a more generationally divided crowd.
The seats last week had small-framed, screaming teens and preteens in them last week for the Justin Bieber performance. Parents, grandparents and other adults who took the kids had to endure the show and the hoards of excited girls.
Tonight the seats will accommodate middle-age spreads as people pack Sprint Center for the Madonna concert. The aging, “material girl” will draw in the baby boom crowd that brought the kids last week for the Bieber performance.
It’s the boomers’ turn now to scream, albeit not as much, or as loud, or as high pitched as in the good ole days.
