The Food and Drug Administration has issued warnings that should make people question how such products got past government screeners in the first place.

The FDA said a Johnson & Johnson bone putty used to arrest bone bleeding may catch fire during surgery. That product is being recalled because of possible serious injury or death, wire reports said.

In another instance, the FDA warns people not to use Reumofan, a dietary supplement, because of reports that it has caused bleeding, strokes and death among some people who have taken the pills, The Associated Press reports. What?

And Republicans want less government in our lives?
