A diverse group of letter writers will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at The Kansas City Star, 1729 Grand Blvd. The meeting is open to the public. Park in the lot at 18th and McGee streets.

People discuss mostly topics in the news to share their thoughts and get the viewpoint of others. I will moderate the session as I have done since the mid-1990s when Dr. David Shapiro started bringing people of diverse backgrounds together at his Minority Museum in south Kansas City as a way of bridging Kansas City’s racial and other gaps.
