Discussion group to meet Tuesday at The Star

The meeting is open to the public. People can bring up any topic. How about that fiscal cliff?

The monthly meetings of mostly letter writers to The Star were started by Dr. David Shapiro. They have been taking place since the mid-1990s to enable people to discuss topics and learn from the perspectives of others.
A second Diversity Coalition meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the home of Darrel Tyree, 9421 Riggs in Overland Park. Please call ahead at 913-649-6538 to reserve one of about 30 seats.
