Is death threat by D.C. cop being taken seriously?
Lewis DiuguidPeople should be outraged over the alleged death threat made by a District of Columbia police officer against first lady Michelle Obama.
The cop worked as a motorcycle escort for the White House and other officials. The Washington Post reported Thursday that the police officer has been moved to administrative duties after authorities became aware of the threat to Obama.
The cop was overheard making the death threat involving the first lady.
Death threat? Administrative duty? Are you kidding me?
If any other person had said anything close to being a threat against any member of the first family the Secret Service would have scooped the person up so fast and buried him so deep in a lockup that no one would have hardly known the suspect ever existed.
I smell the awful odor of a double standard. But was the “administrative duties” response instead of jail because it was “only” the first lady? Was it because the incident involved a D.C. police officer and not just any Joe on the street? Or was it because the first family is black?
Hmmm? So many choices….
