Conservative points on terrorist attacks shot down in debate
President Barack Obama during the debate tonight addressed the attacks on U.S. embassies.
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney tried to get across to people that it took the Obama administration too long to admit that the attacks on Sept. 11 were a planned terrorist attack instead of a reaction to a anti-Muslim film. But Obama and debate moderator Candy Crowley correctly pointed out that Romney was wrong.
Issues of jobs being shifted overseas, taxes on the rich, creating work at home and Romney getting the National Rifle Association endorsement came up in the intense exchange between the candidates.
Alhough sometimes raucour, Obama clearly was standing strong against Romney, who proved in the first debate that he was a worthy opponent.
