Who out walking or jogging hasn’t had a diesel fume belching bus or truck pass by and nearly leave the person afoot nearly coughing?

Now we find — surprise, surprise — that those fumes are quite hazardous. The World Health Organization’s cancer agency on Tuesday said diesel fumes cause cancer.

The Associated Press reports that the risk of getting cancer from inhaling diesel fumes is small, but because diesel trucks, buses, cars, ships and trains are everywhere, so is the threat.

It’s yet another thing to be concerned about when it comes to cancer possibilities.
