A Barack Obama presidency and my husband's retirement account: What one has to do with the other

There for awhile I was getting whiplash trying to follow the balance on my husband's 401(k). Then it settled down to going in a downward direction, and I quit checking it. My husband is eligible for retirement in just over three years, and he was pretty much counting on it. (This should strike fear in the hearts of all crappie, ducks, and other edible wildlife in our selected retirement area.)
